Girls Rugby at Wymondham RFC is thriving!

We aim to give our players to play one of the fastest growing sports globally, and nationwide. The RFU has seen the female game grow 17% year on year for the last 4 years, despite Covid. As a team, we give our players the chance to develop their confidence, team work, decision making and fitness in a fun environment that pushes their abilities in a sport outside of normal school curriculum. Our players develop friendships and communication skills that go beyond the pitch and their own club. We encourage our players to attend match official courses and to keep their boots on by progressing into Wymondham Wasps, University teams or teams local to them.
